Members of the Board of Directors, and the Chief Executive Officer Mrs. ‘Matšepang Sekhokoane, have completed a tour of the projects sponsored by the Road Fund and implemented by two Road Implementing Agencies namely the Roads Directorate and Maseru City Council.
The aim of the tour was for the members of the Board to view progress on the ground following their approval of the annual budget for the road maintenance programmes; to appreciate the financial performance thereof in relation to the quality of work done and to also comprehend the challenges that the Agencies faced during implementation, including the proposed solutions to those challenges.
They visited projects in the districts of Butha-Buthe, Leribe, Maseru and Qacha’s Nek.
