Toll Gate Fees Set to Increase, A Reprieve on Class 1 Local Vehicles

The Road Fund Secretariat informs all road users and the public at large that Toll Gate Fees are set to increase at all Ports of Entry, effective April 01, 2026.

While the increase will be effected on all four vehicle classes, the Class 1 locally registered vehicles has been given a reprieve, as there has not been any increase effected thereon. 

The revised rates are as follows:  

Class 1: Motor Cycle and Light Vehicles designed or adopted for conveyance of people or freight with no heavy axle

Local Registered Vehicles- remains M70.00 (No increase)

Foreign Registered Vehicles-From M100.00 to M120.00

Class 2: Medium Heavy Vehicles designed or adopted for conveyance of           people or freight with heavy axle

Local Registered Vehicles-From M120.00 to M125.00

Foreign Registered Vehicles-From M165.00 to M200.00

 Class 3:  Large Heavy Vehicles designed or adopted for conveyance of people or freight with 3 axles

 Local Registered Vehicles-From M175.00 to M185.00

 Foreign Registered Vehicles- From M300.00 to M400.00

Class 4: Extra-Large Heavy Vehicles designed or adopted for conveyance of people or freight with 4 or more axles

Local Registered Vehicles-From M420.00 to M440.00

Foreign Registered Vehicles- From M650.00 to M800.00

Toll Gate Fees are collected by Revenue Services Lesotho on behalf of the Road Fund Secretariat, at designated border posts around the country.
