The Road Fund has taken part in the recent Road Construction and Building Materials Exhibition, organised by the Roads Directorate at the Maseru Club premises.

The aim of the exhibition was to address challenges posed by depletion and commercialisation of road construction materials, through showcasing the latest industry trends. It was further meant to facilitate networking amongst the construction manufactures and suppliers.

As a financier of the road infrastructure, the Road Fund took a change to further sensitise the attendees about its mandate, which is to collect revenue from various streams, and to disburse it to the Road Implementing Agencies like Road Directorate, to maintain and rehabilitate roads in the country.

The exhibition was a great platform to network with most role players in the roads sector, hence the Road Fund’s interaction with stakeholders and road users of various ages, who came to witness and partake in the exhibition.

This exhibition was the first of its kind, and it is set to be an event.
