Road Fund has sponsored a number of Rehabilitation of Artificial Road Lighting Works and Construction and Installation of Road Lighting in Maseru,  Thaba-Tseka and Mafeteng districts.

These Projects, implemented by the Roads Directorate, represent a strategic investment in road safety, improved mobility and sustainable infrastructure. By incorporating solar-powered lighting solutions, the initiative aligns with broader goals of environmental sustainability and energy efficiency.

Lakeside to Nutri Foods (3.1km)

Nutri Foods to Selakhapane (2.8km)

Lancers Inn to Pioneer Traffic Circle (1.2km)

Tsolo to Tikoe Industrial (2.8km)

Mafeteng main routes maintenance (6.6km)

Solar lighting in Thaba-Tseka

The Road Fund remains committed to enhancing road safety and supporting national development through innovative and sustainable solutions.

With a combined investment of over M60 million, these initiatives demonstrate the Road Fund’s mandate to effectively collect and reinvest resources into critical road infrastructure.
