The Road Fund Management Team gathered for a week long meeting for the final assessment of the performance of the Fund’s 2020-2023 Strategic Plan.

Since the 2022-2023 Financial Year is the last year of implementation of same, the aim was to review all the action plans within the Strategy, to ensure that all would be tackled accordingly by the time it comes to an end.

The Road Fund Chief Executive Officer Mr. Nkekeletse Makara applauded the Team for dedication they demonstrated during the session saying since its development, the Strategic Plan has provided a clear sense of direction on the Fund’s long term activities while also informing the day to day ones as well.

He said proper execution of the Strategy will not only bear positive results for the Fund, but for the country at large.

“By the time we develop the new Plan, we will have a clear picture of where we come from and where we want to go, and it will no longer be a mammoth task like it was developing the current Plan,” he added.

The review of the Strategy was followed by planning for the year 2022-2023 as well as budgeting for the planned activities.

The current Strategic Plan of the Fund was developed by the same Team in October 2019, it is a three-year Plan starting from April 2020 and ending in March 2023.
